We aren't registered as organic, but we try not to use chemicals and pesticides. preferring to to try to use regenerative techniques and a more natural process such as no dig beds to help benefit the soil and kuniekune pigs to reclaim land covered in rushes to increase the grazing . None of these plans are cheap but it is the best for the land long term and the produce, wildlife and environment will all benefit too.
There's a large amount of fencing that's required as we increase our herd of alpacas as well, each paddock needs a field shelter and water.
trailer shopping is the next thing on the list. we only need a small 2 cow size trailer but these are often difficult to find but today on my trip to various suppliers I found the perfect one . Its not new but its is almost perfect condition. Ill be going back on Monday to give it a new home.
