It has rained consistently since the start of the year.
We've had light rain, heavy rain, fat rain, rain that soaks you to the bone , rain that comes in sideways and rain that bounces back up from the ground.
All the animals are sick of the sight of rain and just dream of beautiful sunny days. But I'm just happy for a couple of dry days.
The bulbs are finally bursting through the ground and the daffodils are almost ready to bloom. Better days are defiantly coming.
In all the doom and gloom we've been keeping ourselves busy. We decided to buy 3 beautiful young weanlings girl alpacas. One is white and called Clara she was already named, One brown unnamed and a beautiful caramel unnamed as yet. Its just so exciting to be building our herd, selecting stock from different excellent breeders from round the country.
Also we'll be adopting a couple of KuneKune pigs when its finally dry enough to starting putting up fencing for them.
But today I'm just enjoying this fabulous sunny day.
